Post #28 (15.05.14) >> Supermarket exploring and more Freshness !

Above Kitaoji train station was the VIVRE shopping mall.

Feeling peckish we decided to stop in as we discovered there was a Freshness burger here too. *winner*

The only problem was finding where it was.

First we stumbled across a supermarket.
To the uphold the tradition of visiting foreign supermarkets ... I had a look.

Crazy tight parking skills

After walking a full circle around the mall including the outside of it, we found Freshness burger was right where we started.

Everyones drinks came out on a tray on the other table.
I ordered an iced coffee.
I thought this was it ! (some fancy Japanese... clear iced coffee *confused*).
After mixing the syrup and milk i had a sip.
Gah ! It was just water *embarassed*
Even funnier Paul sipped on what he thought was his coke,  but was actually my black iced coffee *lol*.

To keep it different i tried their hotdog.
Good too !

My real iced coffee... Lol

Trevors OJ.

Trevors burger.

After lunch we headed back to the train station bound for Inari station.

Next up, probably the most reknown shrine in Kyoto ... the Fushimi Inari Shrine.

Post #23 (14.05.14) >> Back to hipster town for the afternoon ***NSFW***

Back to Chuo-ku after being down south, we got off at Namba station and proceeded to walk towards Orange Street & Amemura.

whooaaa ! rock climbing platform

Orange Street is an area filled with boutiques, cafes & the trendiest Japanese youth culture brands.

Nipples covered with heart shaped tassles using MS paint hehe

Now back in America Town, we explored a few more stores before going on the hunt for a famous burger chain.

Triangle Park !!!
Freshness Burger !!!

WOW ! this burger was great !
Everything tasted REAL.
The bun, the meat, the lettuce, & toppings, all good !... unlike the McDonalds shit back home which remains really questionable.
Best burger eaten to date, ever ! anywhere !

The food from this chain burger restaurant seemed non mass produced, quality of the food was of local milkbar calibre.
Perhaps the secret to success is the simple kitchen area and fresh, genuine ingredients ?

LEGO store was open this time

Done shopping, we headed back to our area crossing Midosuji again.
